Do You Have An Attitude Of Gratitude?

One of the things I used to better visualize my ideas, dreams, and goals was to practice being grateful. When I was first starting my business I had a written goal to meditate and give thanks and gratitude for all that I have in my life—twice per day. This practice instilled a mindset to receive more of what I was thankful for.

The same is true for people who complain a lot or who have a negative attitude. Have you ever noticed that the more a person complains, the more that problems seem to arise from nowhere? It’s really not a coincidence—this is the Law of Attraction at work. This law says that “like attracts like,” which means that if we’re stuck in a negative attitude and expressing it, more of the same will come to you.

So, how can you attract what you DO want instead of more difficulties? Change what you’re sending out to the world. The energy you put out on a daily basis brings the same back in return. So, instead of sending a message of anger, fear, or worry, focus on what makes your heart sing. Also, don’t worry if you have a bad day now and then. We’re all human, after all. The energy we send out habitually and consistently matters the most.

Making gratitude a habit is as simple as setting a goal—and practicing it daily. Be grateful for what you do have, even if it’s not exactly what you want. Life is a work in progress. When you sing a song of gratitude in your heart, it opens the door to bigger and better possibilities. And you never really know what gifts are right around the corner!
